2024 Endless Wonder
This year my theme is endless wonder. Thats what we travel for. Every turn of the wheel brings us more endless wonder. Amateur radio is an endless wonder every time we make a contact. The flight of a drone is an endless wonder. One goal for the year is to get my commercial drone pilot’s license. I try to capture endless wonder with every photo I take. We are planning a couple trips for the year. I’m in the process of installing a shelf on the radio desk and making the radio shack into a video studio for doing some YouTube videos. So, stay tuned. I also want to start an email list so it’s easier to keep everyone posted on what’s going on.
The 2018 Ford Escape we have been using for a few years has had a catastrophic engine failure. So, for the time being we are using a 2014 VW Tiquan. This will be a year of deciding on what our vehicle requirements are and researching to see what we want to get, and how to build it into a real travel vehicle. I will keep “Escape and explore” in places on the site as a reminder of the many fun trips we had with our Escape. It took us to endless wonder more than I ever expected of a small cross-over SUV. It was never built to do what we did. It gave us 173000 miles of adventure.
